Job Description

Mission Mechanical, a well-established Plumbing, HVAC, and Refrigeration Service Company serving Indianapolis and Central Indiana, is hiring licensed and experienced Plumbers at all levels to join our team.

We are currently filling the following Plumbing roles:

• Commercial Plumbing Lead Installer — Lead commercial plumbing installation projects across Indianapolis and surrounding counties. Sign-on bonus up to $4,000 for qualified candidates.
• Plumbing Service Technician — Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems for commercial and residential clients throughout Central Indiana.
• Plumbing Installer — Install plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment on commercial and residential projects.

Sign-On Bonus Program

Tier 1 — Licensed plumbers with 5+ years of new construction experience: $2,000 sign-on bonus

Tier 2 — Licensed plumbers with 5+ years of new construction experience AND multi-story expertise: $4,000 sign-on bonus

Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose diverse building plumbing issues across commercial and residential properties
• Obtain and install replacement parts and fixtures as needed
• Calibrate plumbing systems to manufacturer’s specifications
• Manage production through direction and installation of mechanical plumbing systems
• Plan, lay out, and ensure the overall efficiency of project installations
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with field supervisors and project managers
• Maintain detailed daily job production records (Daily Reports)
• Communicate diagnoses and solutions clearly to customers and facility directors
• Electronically process work orders, before/after photos, and payment documentation
• Ensure proper organization and securement of onsite materials
• Safeguard all Mission Mechanical property on job sites

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of plumbing construction or service experience (5–7 years preferred for senior roles)
• Indiana Plumbing License (required for lead/senior roles; preferred for all)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass drug and background screenings
• Possess reasonable trade-specific tools
• Physical ability to climb ladders and access rooftops
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Leadership characteristics for lead roles

Job Type: Full-Time

Expected Hours: 40 per week

Pay: $30.00–$44.00/hour (based on experience and role)

Schedule: Monday to Friday. On-call availability for service roles.
