Job Description

Mission Mechanical, a well-established Plumbing, HVAC, and Refrigeration Service Company serving Indianapolis and Central Indiana, is hiring licensed Electricians at all experience levels.

We are currently filling the following Refrigeration roles:

• Commercial Refrigeration Technician — Install, service, and repair commercial refrigeration systems for clients across Indianapolis and Central Indiana.
• Other Refrigeration Roles — Have specialized refrigeration experience not listed? Tell us about it.

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems including walk-in coolers and freezers, display cases, reach-in units, ice machines, and process refrigeration equipment
• Install new commercial refrigeration systems and components
• Perform refrigerant recovery, recharge, and leak testing per EPA regulations
• Read and interpret electrical and refrigeration system schematics
• Utilize digital diagnostic tools and CRM platforms for documentation
• Communicate clearly with commercial clients and facility managers onsite
• Maintain accurate service records and daily production documentation
• Ensure EPA 608 compliance on all refrigerant handling
• Safeguard all Mission Mechanical property and tools on job sites
• Assist in training junior technicians

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial refrigeration service and installation experience
• EPA Section 608 Universal certification required
• OSHA 10 minimum; OSHA 30 preferred
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to pass drug and background screenings
• Possess trade-specific tools
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

Job Type: Full-Time

Expected Hours: 40 per week

Pay: $28.00–$45.00/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: 8-hour shifts. Monday to Friday. On-call availability.
