Job Description

Mission Mechanical, a well-established Plumbing, HVAC, and Refrigeration Service Company serving Indianapolis and Central Indiana, is hiring experienced Refrigeration Technicians to join our commercial refrigeration team.

We are currently filling the following Electrical roles:

• Electrician — Perform electrical installations, service, and repairs for commercial and residential clients across Central Indiana.
• Electrical Lead Technician — Lead electrical installation and service projects, manage job site operations, and mentor junior technicians.
• Other Electrical Roles — Have specialized experience not listed above? Tell us about it.

Our electrical team handles: electrical system design and installation, panel upgrades and circuit breakers, lighting installation and upgrades, emergency and exit lighting, generator and backup power solutions, EV charging station installation, electrical inspections and code compliance, troubleshooting and repairs, rewiring and system upgrades, surge protection, outlet/switch/fixture installation, and fire alarm and life safety systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for commercial and residential properties
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics
• Perform electrical panel upgrades, circuit installations, and system troubleshooting
• Install and service lighting, generators, EV chargers, and life safety systems
• Ensure all work meets NEC code and local Indianapolis/Indiana code requirements
• Lead job site operations and coordinate with project managers and subcontractors (lead roles)
• Maintain accurate daily production records and job documentation
• Communicate clearly with customers and facility managers
• Safeguard all Mission Mechanical property on job sites
• Assist in training apprentices and junior electricians

Job Requirements

• Indiana Electrician License (Journeyman or Master preferred; apprentice level considered)
• 2+ years of electrical installation or service experience (varies by role)
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to pass drug and background screenings
• OSHA 10 minimum; OSHA 30 preferred for lead roles
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Physical ability to work at heights and in confined spaces

Job Type: Full-Time

Expected Hours: 40 per week

Pay: $25.00–$45.00/hour (based on experience and role)

Schedule: Monday to Friday. On-call availability.
