Mission Mechanical, a well-established Plumbing, HVAC, and Refrigeration Service Company serving Indianapolis and Central Indiana, is hiring HVAC professionals at all experience levels to join our growing team.

We are currently filling the following HVAC roles:

• Commercial HVAC Service Technician — Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial mechanical systems including RTUs, VRFs, chillers, boilers, split systems, AHUs, and VAVs.
• Commercial Lead HVAC Installer — Lead commercial HVAC installation projects, manage job site operations, and coordinate with PMs and subcontractors.
• Commercial HVAC Installer — Execute mechanical installations for commercial clients across Indianapolis and Central Indiana.
• Residential HVAC Lead — Oversee residential HVAC installation teams and ensure top-quality workmanship on every job.
• HVAC Apprentice — Entry-level opportunity for motivated individuals looking to build a career in HVAC under the guidance of our experienced team.
• Mechanical HVAC Installer — Install and commission mechanical HVAC systems for commercial and industrial projects.
• Controls Technician — Program, install, and service building automation and HVAC controls systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose commercial and residential HVAC systems including RTUs, split systems, VRFs, boilers, chillers, AHUs, and VAVs
• Perform repairs or installations based on proposed diagnoses
• Plan, lay out, and ensure the overall efficiency of project repairs or installations
• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams accurately
• Manage production through the direction and installation of mechanical systems
• Maintain accurate daily job production records (Daily Reports), expense reports, and weekly document submissions
• Document systems installed (As-Builts) with precision
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with field supervisors and project managers
• Communicate onsite with subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution
• Oversee the efficient use, safety, and return of all rental equipment
• Organize and secure onsite materials, inventorying additional materials for efficient job site pickup and returns
• Safeguard all Mission Mechanical property on the job site
• Assist in training apprentices

Job Requirements

• Experience in HVAC mechanical service or installation (level varies by role — apprentice through senior)
• EPA Section 608 certification (required for service roles; in-process acceptable)
• OSHA 10 minimum; OSHA 30 preferred for lead roles
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug and background check
• Reliable smart mobile device

Job Type: Full-Time

Expected Hours: 40 per week

Pay: $20.00–$45.00/hour (based on experience and role)

Schedule: Monday to Friday. On-call availability for service roles.
